We are engineers who have built and flown spacecraft, robots and safety-critical systems, now building the vehicle that accelerates lunar exploration.
Our story
Our path to the Moon
Leap Works began in August 2025 with a simple question: what if a lunar vehicle could fly over rough terrain instead of driving across it?
In our first year we built a GNC demonstrator drone with a coaxial propeller, developed and hot-fired a hybrid rocket engine, and wrote the business plan for a lunar hopper. Leap Works S.à r.l. was incorporated in Bertrange, Luxembourg, in July 2026.
Next comes a rocket-powered prototype in 2027, a flight-representative model in 2028 and our first lunar mission, targeted for 2029.

Hardware first
We de-risk the hardest technologies early with prototypes we build and fly ourselves.
Every prototype earns its keep
Terrestrial vehicles become test platforms for continuous improvement and for customers' equipment.
Green propulsion
A hybrid rocket engine without hydrazine is safer to build, test and integrate.

Designed and built in Luxembourg's space ecosystem, for European and international customers.
